Ubuntu source materials
This inert image retains original Ubuntu source archives and distribution patches for the package versions identified in /sources/SOURCE-INDEX.json. It contains no running service. The source archive is /sources/ubuntu-sources.tar.gz.
Each upstream package retains its own copyright notices and licence terms inside its original source archive and distribution packaging. LicenseRef-Ubuntu-Source-Packages refers to those individual upstream terms, including GPL/LGPL and permissive licences. The Stella LICENSE applies only to Stella-authored collection documentation and metadata; it does not relicense the upstream software or limit its source-code rights.
The collection records declared source package/version identities from the retained installed-package inventories. Source input sizes and SHA-256 values match their original Ubuntu source descriptors. Descriptor signatures are retained but are not claimed as independently verified; no reproducible binary rebuild is claimed. No downloaded source code was executed to assemble this collection.
To obtain the material, pull this image by its published digest, create a stopped container with an arbitrary extraction-only command, and copy /sources out with docker cp. Remove that stopped container when finished. Do not start this image. The sources can then be carried into an offline environment with the corresponding binary images. Source availability does not require a Customer Agreement.
