Pricing for technical release control
One platform for policy gating, signed evidence, and non-Kubernetes release orchestration. Every tier includes full capabilities; pricing scales by environments and new-digest deep scans.
v1.0-RC1 is available now — signed public bundle and images, installed with one command. v1.0 is expected on 1 January 2027, and pre-orders are open.

- → 3 environments *A logical deployment boundary (for example: dev, staging, prod) with its own promotion history and policy state.
- → 100 new-digest deep scans per rolling 24 h *A first-time deep analysis of a unique digest (SBOM, vulnerability, and reachability processing). Re-checking an already-seen digest does not consume additional deep-scan quota.
- → Weekly vulnerability data — up to 7 days behind on new CVEs *A signed snapshot of advisory, VEX and policy data for air-gapped installs, imported with stella offline import. The plan sets how often a fresh bundle is published for you to pull.
- → Self-serve: docs, community, and machine-readable Doctor diagnostics

- → 50,000 new-digest deep scans per month — no daily ceiling *A first-time deep analysis of a unique digest (SBOM, vulnerability, and reachability processing). Re-checking an already-seen digest does not consume additional deep-scan quota.
- → Daily vulnerability data, online and offline *A signed snapshot of advisory, VEX and policy data for air-gapped installs, imported with stella offline import. The plan sets how often a fresh bundle is published for you to pull.

Pre-order
Pre-order Plus and you are provisioned as Pro — the higher environment count, scan allowance, offline cadence and support level, at the Plus price. An early-adopter rate that ends at v1.0. RC1 is public today, so evaluate first.
What v1.0 means here: expected 1 January 2027, and it does not ship before at least two customers run Stella Ops in production and the public API surface is frozen.
Every capability ships in every tier, including compliance packs, and every tier allows unlimited deployment targets — there is no per-target charge. Tiers change capacity and support, never features. The Free tier permits limited production use; beyond its limits a paid plan (Plus or Pro) is required.
How metering works: an environment is a logical deployment boundary, and a new-digest deep scan is the first deep analysis of a unique image digest. Re-checking an already-seen digest consumes nothing. The Free tier meters over a rolling 24-hour window — 100 new-digest deep scans in any 24 hours, with no monthly pool; Plus meters per calendar month and Pro has no scan limit. That is a hard daily ceiling: a release day needing 300 scans is not possible on Free at any point in the month. Paid tiers carry no daily ceiling, so the month's allowance is spent in whatever shape the pipeline needs. Environments and new-digest deep scans are the only metering axes: deployment targets are never metered, on any tier. These limits are terms of the licence, not runtime restrictions in the software — nothing stops at the cap; the free grant is what the terms permit.
Annual billing option: pay for 11 months, receive 12 months of service. Capacity add-on on Plus: +10,000 new-digest deep scans for $399. Prices are shown excluding VAT; any applicable VAT or sales tax is determined and charged at checkout by the merchant of record handling your order, based on your location and tax status.
Free is self-serve: documentation, community discussions and Doctor self-diagnostics, with no contractual response target. Plus and Pro include a support ticket allowance and a response target. One issue is one ticket however many replies it takes; incidents where Stella Ops is down or blocking releases are not counted against the allowance and are not subject to the standard target; and a ticket that turns out to be a product defect is not counted either. Enterprise: Support, response, and onboarding terms negotiated per contract.
You are never blocked waiting for us: a scoped, time-limited gate exception and Doctor's non-destructive fixes let you restore releases yourself.
